During the covid quarantine, I found purpose in starting a small business crafting handmade crochet goods as it has always been a hobby of mine. With my passion for sustainability, I tried my best to source eco-friendly materials and to implement ethical production practices to minimise the impact on the world.

Through Samika, besides providing high-quality, environmental friendly goods, I also aimed to raise awareness about the importance of sustainability and good work ethics in the fashion industry, which I personally find still lacking in Indonesia. I hope to have inspired and educated people to support ethical businesses and to foster a more conscientious consumer culture.

Samika is an Indonesian local brand, focusing on handmade crocheted goods aiming to be a part of the slow fashion chain. Our carefully crafted, customisable products are designed to match our love for clothing with our love for the planet without harming the life around us.
